TLDR
Hydrogen peroxide stimulated the autoxidation and superoxide dismutase inhibited the hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidation, results which suggest the participation of hydrogenperoxide in autoxidated and in the generation of superoxide radical.About:

Effect of 28-homobrassinolide on antioxidant defence system in Raphanus sativus L. under chromium toxicity.
TL;DR: It was observed that 28-HBL treatment considerably reduced the impact of Cr-stress on seedlings which was evinced upon analysis of morphological and biochemical parameters of 7-days old radish seedlings.

Tertiary-butyl hydroperoxide induced oxidative stress and male reproductive activity in mice: Role of transcription factor NF-κB and testicular antioxidant enzymes
TL;DR: Evaluating the possible role of oxidative stress during testicular pathogenesis in male mice exposed to tertiary-butyl hydroperoxide suggested a potential role of NF-kappaB in oxidative stress mediated changes in the physiology of male reproductive system.

Effect of Withania somnifera root extract on reserpine-induced orofacial dyskinesia and cognitive dysfunction.
TL;DR: Withania somnifera root extract could be a useful drug for the treatment of drug‐induced dyskinesia and indicates that oxidative stress might play an important role in the pathophysiology of reserpine‐induced abnormal oral movements.

Sesamol suppresses neuro-inflammatory cascade in experimental model of diabetic neuropathy.
TL;DR: The major finding of the study is that insulin alone corrected the hyperglycemia and partially reversed the pain response in diabetic rats, but the combination with sesamol not only attenuated the diabetic condition but also reversed neuropathic pain through modulation of oxidative-nitrosative stress, inflammatory cytokine release, and caspase-3 in diabetic Rats.

Carbofuran-induced neurochemical and neurobehavioral alterations in rats: attenuation by N-acetylcysteine.
TL;DR: It is shown that carbofuran exerts its neurotoxic effects by accentuating oxidative stress and the protective effects of N-acetylcysteine (NAC) are suggested to suggest neuroprotective role of NAC in carb ofuran neurotoxicity.

Involvement of the Superoxide Anion Radical in the Autoxidation of Pyrogallol and a Convenient Assay for Superoxide Dismutase
TL;DR: The autoxidation of pyrogallol was investigated in the presence of EDTA in the pH range 7.9–10.6, indicating an almost total dependence on the participation of the superoxide anion radical, O2·−, in the reaction.

The Role of Superoxide Anion in the Autoxidation of Epinephrine and a Simple Assay for Superoxide Dismutase
Hara P. Misra,Irwin Fridovich +1 more
TL;DR: It is proposed that the autoxidation of epinephrine proceeds by at least two distinct pathways, only one of which is a free radical chain reaction involving O2- and hence inhibitable by superoxide dismutase.

TL;DR: Clostridial and spinach ferredoxins, reduced enzymatically by the action of ferredoxin-TPN+ oxidoreductase, have been shown to carry out the univalent reduction of oxygen.

TL;DR: The results point to a reaction between H2O2 and O2- (Haber-Weiss reaction) as a major source of the ·OH radicals and to a combined action of blocking ·OH formation as well as accelerating its removal.
