Abstract
Combining perturbative-QCD inspired models for multiple jet production with low ${p}_{T}$ multistring phenomenology, we develop a Monte Carlo event generator hijing to study jet and multiparticle production in high energy $\mathrm{pp}$, $\mathrm{pA}$, and $\mathrm{AA}$ collisions. The model includes multiple minijet production, nuclear shadowing of parton distribution functions, and a schematic mechanism of jet interactions in dense matter. Glauber geometry for multiple collisions is used to calculate $\mathrm{pA}$ and $\mathrm{AA}$ collisions. The phenomenological parameters are adjusted to reproduce essential features of $\mathrm{pp}$ multiparticle production data for a wide energy range ($\sqrt{s}=5\ensuremath{-}2000$ GeV). Illustrative tests of the model on $p+A$ and light-ion $B+A$ data at $\sqrt{s}=20$ GeV/nucleon and predictions for Au+Au at energies of the BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider ($\sqrt{s}=200$ GeV/nucleon) are given.

Role of quark-interchange processes in evolution of mesonic matter

TL;DR: In this paper, the cross-section for a meson-meson reaction is divided into three parts: the first part is for the quark-interchange process, the second part for quarkantiquark annihilation processes and the third part for resonant processes.

Effects of elliptic flow and resonance decay process on the Kurtosis of net baryon distributions

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of elliptic flow and resonance decay process on the Kurtosis have been studied with Monte Carlo event generators in Au + Au collisions at GeV, and the results show that the kurtosis is not sensitive to elliptic Flow and Resonance Decay Process.

Evaluation of radiation dose exposure for silicon pixel detectors in ALICE experiment

TL;DR: In this paper, an estimation of radiation dose exposure expected for the inner tracking system (ITS) of ALICE experiment at the future LHC collider is presented, in particular the two innermost layers of the silicon ITS, located at radial distances of 3.9 and 7.6 cm.
