Abstract
Combining perturbative-QCD inspired models for multiple jet production with low ${p}_{T}$ multistring phenomenology, we develop a Monte Carlo event generator hijing to study jet and multiparticle production in high energy $\mathrm{pp}$, $\mathrm{pA}$, and $\mathrm{AA}$ collisions. The model includes multiple minijet production, nuclear shadowing of parton distribution functions, and a schematic mechanism of jet interactions in dense matter. Glauber geometry for multiple collisions is used to calculate $\mathrm{pA}$ and $\mathrm{AA}$ collisions. The phenomenological parameters are adjusted to reproduce essential features of $\mathrm{pp}$ multiparticle production data for a wide energy range ($\sqrt{s}=5\ensuremath{-}2000$ GeV). Illustrative tests of the model on $p+A$ and light-ion $B+A$ data at $\sqrt{s}=20$ GeV/nucleon and predictions for Au+Au at energies of the BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider ($\sqrt{s}=200$ GeV/nucleon) are given.

Centrality and transverse momentum dependencies of hadrons in Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 5.02$sNN=5.02 TeV and Xe+Xe collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 5.44$sNN=5.44 TeV from a multi-phase transport model

TL;DR: In this article, a string-melting version of a multi-phase transport (AMPT) model with an improved quark coalescence method was used to predict the charged-particle pseudorapidity multiplicity density, transverse momentum spectra of identified particles and their ratios in relativistic heavy ion collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).

D-meson production in d+Au process using a perturbative approach

TL;DR: In this article, the D-meson production at forward rapidities in d + Au processes is calculated using a pQCD based model, assuming that this treatment could be used as a baseline for distinct dynamical and medium effects.

Possible striking signals for a quark-gluon plasma at RHIC

TL;DR: In this paper, Wang et al. developed a series of event generators to extend and describe localized-in-rapidity bubbles of plasma, and applied these techniques to investigating Kharzeev and Pisarski bubbles of metastable vacua.
