TLDR
Among patients with pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2 (novel coronavirus pneumonia or Wuhan pneumonia), fever was the most common symptom, followed by cough, and bilateral lung involvement with ground-glass opacity was themost common finding from computed tomography images of the chest.

Anosmia and ageusia associated with coronavirus infection (COVID-19) - what is known?

TL;DR: This study summarizes the existing data regarding the association of anosmia and ageusia with the SARS-CoV-2 infection and aims to describe manifestations of these, particularly in the clinical picture of all symptomatic patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lessons learnt from COVID 19: An Italian multicentric epidemiological study of orthopaedic and trauma services

TL;DR: The COVID-19 raised many important issues, such as the optimal management of patients requiring the treatment of conventional diseases during a pandemic, and an integrated approach within the same geographical area could be useful to better allocate resources and manage the patients’ needs.

Clinical impact of monocyte distribution width and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio for distinguishing COVID-19 and influenza from other upper respiratory tract infections: A pilot study.

TL;DR: It is shown that monocyte distribution width and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio can distinguish COVID-19 from influenza and URIs, and MDW and NLR effectively identified influenza infection.

TLCoV- An automated Covid-19 screening model using Transfer Learning from Chest X-ray images

TL;DR: In this article, an automated Covid-19 screening model is designed to identify the patients suffering from this disease by using their chest X-ray images and three learning schemes such as CNN, VGG-16 and ResNet-50 are separately used to learn the model.

A Novel Coronavirus from Patients with Pneumonia in China, 2019.

TL;DR: Human airway epithelial cells were used to isolate a novel coronavirus, named 2019-nCoV, which formed a clade within the subgenus sarbecovirus, Orthocoronavirinae subfamily, which is the seventh member of the family of coronaviruses that infect humans.

A pneumonia outbreak associated with a new coronavirus of probable bat origin

TL;DR: Identification and characterization of a new coronavirus (2019-nCoV), which caused an epidemic of acute respiratory syndrome in humans in Wuhan, China, and it is shown that this virus belongs to the species of SARSr-CoV, indicates that the virus is related to a bat coronav virus.

Clinical Characteristics of 138 Hospitalized Patients With 2019 Novel Coronavirus-Infected Pneumonia in Wuhan, China.

TL;DR: The epidemiological and clinical characteristics of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV)-infected pneumonia in Wuhan, China, and hospital-associated transmission as the presumed mechanism of infection for affected health professionals and hospitalized patients are described.

Epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 99 cases of 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia in Wuhan, China: a descriptive study

TL;DR: Characteristics of patients who died were in line with the MuLBSTA score, an early warning model for predicting mortality in viral pneumonia, and further investigation is needed to explore the applicability of the Mu LBSTA scores in predicting the risk of mortality in 2019-nCoV infection.
