Journal ArticleDOI

Relationship between the azimuthal dependencies of nuclear modification factor and ridge yield

TL;DR: In this article, the azimuthal angular dependence of the nuclear modification factor R{sub AA} (p{sub T,phi,N{sub part}) was related to the trigger phi dependency of the ridge yield as measured by STAR in a framework in which the azIMuthal anisotropy is driven by semihard scattering near the surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Properties of structure functions from helicity components of light quarks and antiquarks in the statistical model

TL;DR: In this article, the existence of a possible relation between the gluon and a $q\overline{q} pair leads to define a toy model for the unpolarized and polarized gluons.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of source opacity and expansion on two-pion Bose-Einstein correlations

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined two-pion Bose-Einstein correlations for partially coherent particle-emitting sources within quantum statistical formalism, where the sources are treated as classical currents with chaotic and coherent components.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coupling dynamical and statistical mechanisms for baryonic cluster production in nucleus collisions of intermediate and high energies

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the nuclei formation from the interacting baryons is a natural consequence of the nuclear interaction at sub-nuclear densities resulting in the nuclear liquid-gas-type phase transition in finite systems.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spin Physics through QCD Instantons

TL;DR: In this article, the authors review some aspects of spin physics where QCD instantons play an important role, in particular their large contributions in semi-inclusive deepinelastic scattering and polarized proton on proton scattering.
