Optimizing the Prediction of Transcription Factor Binding Sites

TL;DR: A new set of PWMs are generated using de novo motif discovery based on ChIP-Seq data and it is shown that these considerably outperform PWMs derived from SELEX or individual promoter assays obtained from the JASPAR database.
