Journal ArticleDOI
Academic motivation, self-concept, engagement, and performance in high school : key processes from a longitudinal perspective
Jasmine Green,Gregory Arief D. Liem,Andrew J. Martin,Susan Colmar,Herbert W. Marsh,Dennis M. McInerney +5 more
TL;DR: Findings provide support for the relevance of the self-system model and, particularly, the importance of examining the dynamic relationships amongst engagement factors of the model.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modeling antibody hypervariable loops: a combined algorithm
TL;DR: Sheriff et al. as discussed by the authors proposed a combined algorithm for the modeling of the individual loops in two systems: the anti-lysozyme antibody HyHel-5, the crystal structure of which is as a complex with lysozyme, and the free antigen binding fragment (Fab) of the antibody, Gloop2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019 Public Health Measures on Detections of Influenza and Respiratory Syncytial Virus in Children During the 2020 Australian Winter.
Daniel K Yeoh,Daniel K Yeoh,Daniel K Yeoh,David A Foley,Cara A Minney-Smith,Andrew J. Martin,Ariel O Mace,Ariel O Mace,Ariel O Mace,Chisha T Sikazwe,Huong Le,Avram Levy,Christopher C Blyth,Hannah C. Moore +13 more
TL;DR: Public health measures during the COVID-19 pandemic have potential to impact transmission of other respiratory viruses and border closures have likely been important in limiting introductions from abroad, according to a Western Australian study.
Journal ArticleDOI
Academic resilience and academic buoyancy: multidimensional and hierarchical conceptual framing of causes, correlates and cognate constructs
TL;DR: In this paper, a hierarchical framework is proposed to explain the nature and extent of adversities and challenges that students face in more regular academic life. But it is argued that academic buoyancy is a necessary but not sufficient condition for academic resilience.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analysis of the antigen combining site: correlations between length and sequence composition of the hypervariable loops and the nature of the antigen.
TL;DR: Here, a direct correlation between the lengths of the CDRs and the nature of the antigen is made and significant differences in the residue composition of theCDRs of antibodies that bind to different antigen classes are shown.
