Journal ArticleDOI

Galaxy evolution and star formation efficiency at 0.2 < z < 0.6

TL;DR: In this article, a CO line survey of 30 galaxies at moderate redshift (z ∼ 0.2−0.6), with the IRAM 30 m telescope, with the goal to follow galaxy evolution and in particular the star formation efficiency (SFE) as defined by the ratio between far-infrared luminosity and molecular gas mass (LFIR/M(H2)).
Journal ArticleDOI

Constraining the radio-loud fraction of quasars at z > 5.5.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors search for radio-loud active galactic nuclei at the highest accessible redshifts and discover two new radioloud quasars at the sensitivities of these surveys by cross-matching the optical Panoramic Survey Telescope & Rapid Response System 1 and radio Faint Images of the Radio Sky at Twenty cm surveys.
Journal ArticleDOI

Millimeter Observations of GRB 030329: Continued Evidence for a Two-Component Jet

TL;DR: In this paper, a dedicated campaign on the afterglow of GRB 030329 with the millimeter interferometers of the Owens Valley Radio Observatory (OVRO) and the Berkeley-Illinois-Maryland Association (BIMA), and with the MAMBO-2 bolometer array on the IRAM 30 m telescope is presented.
