High resolution observations of a starburst at z=0.223: resolved CO(1-0)
Francoise Combes,Santiago García-Burillo,J. Braine,Eva Schinnerer,Fabian Walter,Luis Colina,Maryvonne Gerin,Lerma,Obs-Paris,Oan Madrid,Obs-Bordeaux,MPIA-Heidelberg,CSIC-Madrid,ENS-Paris +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of CO(1-0) emission mapping with the IRAM interferometer, at 1 arcsec, resolution, of the z=0.223 ultra-luminous starburst IRAS 11582+3020.
Journal ArticleDOI
High Resolution Observations of Molecular Lines in Arp 220: Kinematics, Morphology, and Limits on the Applicability of the Ammonia Thermometer
TL;DR: In this article, the kinematics, morphology, and identify molecular species on scales resolving both nuclei (0.6" or 230 pc) of ULIRG were provided.
Journal ArticleDOI
Constraining Galaxy Overdensities around Three z ∼ 6.5 Quasars with ALMA and MUSE
Romain A. Meyer,Roberto Decarli,Fabian Walter,Qiong Li,Ran Wang,Chiara Mazzucchelli,Eduardo Bañados,Emanuele Paolo Farina,Bram Venemans +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors quantify galaxy overdensities around three high-redshift quasars with known [C ii]158 μm companions: PJ231-20 (z = 6.59), PJ308-21 (z= 6.24), and J0305-3150 (z ≤ 2.61).

Journal ArticleDOI
Strong Mg II and Fe II Absorbers at 2.2 < z < 6.0
Siwei Zou,Lin-Hua Jiang,Yue Shen,Jin Wu,Eduardo Bañados,Xiaohui Fan,Luis C. Ho,Dominik A. Riechers,Bram Venemans,Marianne Vestergaard,Marianne Vestergaard,Fabian Walter,Feige Wang,Chris J. Willott,Ravi Joshi,Xue-Bing Wu,Jinyi Yang +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a study of strong intervening absorption systems in the near-IR spectra of 31 luminous quasars at 5.7 magnitude was presented, which suggests that the gas traced by the absorbers are potentially affected by galactic superwinds.
