Measurements of t t ̄ spin correlations and top-quark polarization using dilepton final states in pp collisions at s =7TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2185 more
TL;DR: Spin correlations and polarization in the top quark-antiquark system are measured using dilepton final states produced in pp collisions at the LHC at sqrt[s]=7 TeV to be in agreement with predictions of the standard model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Shape, transverse size, and charged-hadron multiplicity of jets in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2240 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the mean charged hadron multiplicity, the differential and integral jet shape distributions, and two independent moments of the shape distributions are measured as functions of the jet transverse momentum for jets reconstructed with the anti-kT algorithm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for leptonic decays of W' bosons in pp collisions at √s=7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2276 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for a new heavy gauge boson decaying to an electron or muon, plus a low mass neutrino, was presented, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 inverse femtobarns, collected using the CMS detector in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV at the LHC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Jet production rates in association with W and Z bosons in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2299 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the normalized inclusive rates of jets sigma(V + >= n jets)/σ(V), where V represents either a W or a Z. The results are in agreement with the predictions of a simulation that uses explicit matrix element calculations for final states with jets.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the B0 production cross section in pp collisions at sqrt[s] = 7 TeV.

S. Chatrchyan, +2215 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the differential production cross sections in transverse momentum and rapidity for B0 mesons produced in pp collisions at square root(s) = 7 TeV.
