Journal ArticleDOI

Interleukin-12 is chemotactic for natural killer cells and stimulates their interaction with vascular endothelium

TL;DR: By inducing migration and interaction with EC, IL-12 regulates crucial determinants of NK-cell recruitment in tissues, and shows significant and reproducible chemotactic response to IL- 12.
Journal ArticleDOI

CCL3 and CXCL12 regulate trafficking of mouse bone marrow NK cell subsets

TL;DR: The results suggest that the combined action of chemokines selectively regulates localization of NK cell subsets in the BM and direct their maturation and migration to the periphery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phosphatidic Acid and Lysophosphatidic Acid Induce Haptotactic Migration of Human Monocytes

TL;DR: Data show that phosphatidic acid induces haptotactic migration of monocytes that is at least in part receptor-mediated, and results support a role for phosphatodic acid and lysophosphatidIC acid in the regulation of leukocyte accumulation into tissues.
Journal Article

Beta-amyloid (25-35) peptide and IFN-gamma synergistically induce the production of the chemotactic cytokine MCP-1/JE in monocytes and microglial cells.

TL;DR: This study examines whether human monocytes and murine microglial cells stimulated with the active fragment of amyloid beta-protein (Abeta(25-35) express the monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1)/JE, and provides evidence that the Abeta( 25-35)- and Abeta plus IFN-gamma-induced production of MCP-2 is mediated in an autocrine fashion by endogenous TNF-alpha.
