Guidelines for the use of flow cytometry and cell sorting in immunological studies (second edition)

Andrea Cossarizza, +462 more
TL;DR: These guidelines are a consensus work of a considerable number of members of the immunology and flow cytometry community providing the theory and key practical aspects offlow cytometry enabling immunologists to avoid the common errors that often undermine immunological data.
Journal Article

Differential regulation of chemokine receptors during dendritic cell maturation: a model for their trafficking properties.

TL;DR: Concomitantly, the expression of CCR7 and the migration to its ligand EBI1 ligand chemokine (ELC)/macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-3beta, a chemokines expressed in lymphoid organs, were strongly up-regulated, though with slower kinetics (24-48 h).

Human Macrophage–derived Chemokine (MDC), a Novel Chemoattractant for Monocytes, Monocyte-derived Dendritic Cells, and Natural Killer Cells

TL;DR: Northern analyses indicated MDC is highly expressed in macrophages and in monocyte-derived dendritic cells, but not in monocytes, natural killer cells, or several cell lines of epithelial, endothelial, or fibroblast origin, which indicated a unique member of the CC chemokine family that may play a fundamental role in the function of dendrite cells, natural Killer cells, and monocytes.
