Complete sequencing and characterization of 21,243 full-length human cDNAs

Toshio Ota, +158 more
- 01 Jan 2004 -
TL;DR: There seems to be a slight bias against GC-rich transcripts in current gene prediction procedures in the “full-length long Japan” collection of sequenced human cDNAs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nonhumidified Intermediate Temperature Fuel Cells Using Protic Ionic Liquids

TL;DR: The characterization of a protic ionic liquid, diethylmethylammonium trifluoromethanesulfonate, as a proton conductor for a fuel cell and the fabrication of a membrane-type fuel cell system using [dema][TfO] under nonhumidified conditions at intermediate temperatures are described in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI

Integrative Annotation of 21,037 Human Genes Validated by Full-Length cDNA Clones

Tadashi Imanishi, +167 more
- 20 Apr 2004 -
TL;DR: The H-InvDB as discussed by the authors is a database of 41,118 full-length cDNAs that capture the gene transcripts as complete functional cassettes, providing an unequivocal report of structural and functional diversity at the gene level.
Journal ArticleDOI

Physicochemical properties determined by ΔpKa for protic ionic liquids based on an organic super-strong base with various Brønsted acids.

TL;DR: Thermogravimetric analyses (TGA) conducted under isothermal and programmed heating conditions have shown that PILs with ΔpK(a)≥ 15 exhibit good thermal stability similar to aprotic ionic liquids, and the relative cationic and anionic self-diffusion coefficients estimated by the pulsed-field gradient spin-echo (PGSE) NMR method appear to be dependent on the structure and strength of the Brønsted acids.
