Phase segregation, interfacial intermetallic growth and electromigration-induced failure in Cu/In–48Sn/Cu solder interconnects under current stressing

TL;DR: In this paper, the evolution of microstructure in Cu/In-48Sn/Cu solder bump interconnects at a current density of 0.7-10 4 A/cm 2 and ambient temperature of 55-°C has been investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electroless copper seed layer deposition on tantalum nitride barrier film

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of deposition time and annealing treatment on the properties of electroless copper seed layer are reported, and it is found that all seed layers exceeding 2-min deposition possess a (111) texture.
Journal Article

A theoretical study on the surface and interfacial properties of Ni₃P for the hydrogen evolution reaction

TL;DR: In this article, the stability, geometric structure, electronic characteristics, and catalytic activity for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) on low-index Ni₃P crystal surfaces, namely, the (001), (100), (110), (101) and (111) planes with different surface terminations, were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

A breathable and environmentally friendly superhydrophobic coating for anti-condensation applications

TL;DR: In this paper, a breathable anti-condensation coating has been developed on cementitious substrates based on bio-based epoxy resins, which showed water repellency and a condensation delay time of 50 min when compared to the uncoated counterpart at a sub-cooled temperature of 8 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simultaneous enhancement in charge separation and onset potential for water oxidation in a BiVO4 photoanode by W–Ti codoping

TL;DR: In this paper, a BiVO4 PEC water splitting cell was analyzed to demonstrate how to analyze the limiting factor and to formulate the corresponding solutions to improve the hole mobility in order to achieve high solar to hydrogen conversion efficiency in photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting.
