TL;DR: In this paper, the interference of two widely separated coherent neutron beams produced by dynamical diffraction in a perfect Si-crystal has been observed, and phase shifting material inserted in the beams results in a marked intensity modulation behind the interferometer.

TL;DR: In this article, a doubly charmed baryon Ξcc++ was observed in a sample of proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV.
Abstract: A highly significant structure is observed in the Λc+K-π+π+ mass spectrum, where the Λc+ baryon is reconstructed in the decay mode pK-π+. The structure is consistent with originating from a weakly decaying particle, identified as the doubly charmed baryon Ξcc++. The difference between the masses of the Ξcc++ and Λc+ states is measured to be 1334.94±0.72(stat.)±0.27(syst.) MeV/c2, and the Ξcc++ mass is then determined to be 3621.40±0.72(stat.)±0.27(syst.)±0.14(Λc+) MeV/c2, where the last uncertainty is due to the limited knowledge of the Λc+ mass. The state is observed in a sample of proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb-1, and confirmed in an additional sample of data collected at 8 TeV.

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that CP-violation in the Majorana mass matrices of the heavy neutrinos can generate a CP-asymmetric universe, and that during the electroweak phase transition the lepton asymmetry is converted into a baryon asymmetry, which survives down to this time.

TL;DR: A new formalization of a “node-centrality” is provided which leads to some properties a measure of centrality has to satisfy, which allow to test given measures, for example measures based on degree, closeness, betweenness or Bonacich’s eigenvector- centrality.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a tutorial review of tip-enhanced Raman scattering (TERS) and compare the performance of different instrumental set ups with respect to the particular requirements of the sample.
Abstract: Tip-enhanced Raman scattering (TERS) is a technique that provides molecular information on the nanometre scale. Using a nanometre-sized metal particle results in a strong signal enhancement and a lateral resolution similar to the dimensions of the particle. As TERS is in a way the ultimate SERS experiment, the theoretical background will be briefly discussed with respect to the unique features and the specific effects that occur when only a single nanoparticle is used as a probe. All the major parts of the instrument will be revealed and the specific advantages of the different instrumental set ups will be investigated with respect to the particular requirements of the sample. Selected examples ranging from material science to cell biological applications demonstrate the capabilities and the potential of TERS in this tutorial review.
