Effect of inadequate iodine status in UK pregnant women on cognitive outcomes in their children: results from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC)

Decrease of free thyroxine levels after controlled ovarian hyperstimulation.
TL;DR: The findings indicate the need for additional studies in the children of women who where exposed to high levels of estrogens around the time of conception and elevated maternal thyroid-stimulating hormone levels during early gestation have been reported to be associated with impaired psychomotor development in the offspring.

Cell-Mediated Immunity and Postpartum Thyroid Dysfunction: A Possibility for the Prediction of Disease?
TL;DR: It is concluded that TPO-Ab+ pregnant women who develop PPTD show several CMI abnormalities other than those seen in normal pregnant women, such as persistently lower percentage of NK cells, a lowered monocyte polarization, and a raised percentage of major histocompatibility complex-class II+CD3+ T cells.

Maternal thyroid peroxidase antibodies during pregnancy: A marker of impaired child development?
TL;DR: It is concluded that children of pregnant women who had elevated titers of TPO-Ab but normal thyroid function are at risk for impaired development.

Antithyroid Drug Side Effects in the Population and in Pregnancy
TL;DR: In the Danish population in general, ATDs associated birth defects and agranulocytosis had similar frequencies and were more common than liver failure, whereas for the use of ATDs in pregnancy, birth defects were dominant.

Postpartum thyroid dysfunction and postpartum depression: are they two linked disorders?
TL;DR: This study evaluated the relation between the presence of PPTD and PD and found that the former is associated with higher risk of postpartum depression and the latter with thyroid dysfunction.
