TLDR
This paper showed that under forecasted changes in temperature and precipitation, there could be a decline of economically valuable species, which would lead to a loss in the value of European forest land.Abstract:
European forests are threatened by climate change with impacts on the distribution of tree species. Previous discussions on the consequences of biome shifts have concentrated only on ecological issues; however, research now shows that under forecasted changes in temperature and precipitation there could be a decline of economically valuable species, which would lead to a loss in the value of European forest land.read more

Some important parameters to display the effects of climate change on forest: a case study in Cerle planning unit, Antalya, Turkey
TL;DR: In this article, a trend analysis was carried out using climate parameters in the selected study area to detect the amount of climate change, and different natural disaster occurrences such as forest fire, windstorm, insects and pest attack evolution were displayed over a period of 30 to 50 years.

The Origin of Biomass
TL;DR: In the origin of biomass, a distinction is made between primary and secondary biomass flows as mentioned in this paper, where primary biomass is formed by autotrophic organisms, i.e., plants, algae and certain bacteria.

Tracing the origin of Oriental beech stands across Western Europe and reporting hybridization with European beech – implications for assisted gene flow
M. M. Kurz,A. Kölz,Jonas Gorges,Beatriz Pablo Carmona,Peter Brang,Yann Vitasse,Martin Kohler,Fabio Rezzonico,Theo H. M. Smits,Jürgen Bauhus,Andreas Rudow,Ole K. Hansen,Mohammad Vatanparast,Hakan Sevik,Peter Zhelev,Dušan Gömöry,Ladislav Paule,Christoph Sperisen,Katalin Csilléry +18 more
TL;DR: AGF of Oriental beech could increase the genetic diversity of European beech stands and may even help the introgression of variants that are more adapted to future climatic conditions, according to climate warming.
