TLDR
It is shown that information consensus under dynamically changing interaction topologies can be achieved asymptotically if the union of the directed interaction graphs have a spanning tree frequently enough as the system evolves.Abstract:
This note considers the problem of information consensus among multiple agents in the presence of limited and unreliable information exchange with dynamically changing interaction topologies. Both discrete and continuous update schemes are proposed for information consensus. This note shows that information consensus under dynamically changing interaction topologies can be achieved asymptotically if the union of the directed interaction graphs have a spanning tree frequently enough as the system evolves.read more

Consensus control for a class of networks of dynamic agents
Guangming Xie,Long Wang +1 more
TL;DR: A linear consensus protocol is established for solving such a consensus problem that includes two parts, a local speed feedback controller and the interactions from the finite neighbours and the protocol performance is discussed as well.

Adaptive Consensus Control for a Class of Nonlinear Multiagent Time-Delay Systems Using Neural Networks
TL;DR: It is proved that the proposed adaptive neural network (NN) consensus control method guarantees the convergence on the basis of Lyapunov stability theory.

On distributed averaging algorithms and quantization effects
TL;DR: This work proposes and analyzes distributed averaging algorithms under the additional constraint that agents can only store and communicate quantized information, so that they can only converge to the average of the initial values of the agents within some error.

Distributed consensus of linear multi-agent systems with adaptive dynamic protocols
TL;DR: This paper considers the distributed consensus problem of multi-agent systems with general continuous-time linear dynamics for both the cases without and with a leader whose control input might be nonzero and time varying, and proposes two types of distributed adaptive dynamic consensus protocols.

Broadcast Gossip Algorithms for Consensus
TL;DR: It is proved that the random consensus value is, in expectation, the average of initial node measurements and that it can be made arbitrarily close to this value in mean squared error sense, under a balanced connectivity model and by trading off convergence speed with accuracy of the computation.

Consensus problems in networks of agents with switching topology and time-delays
TL;DR: A distinctive feature of this work is to address consensus problems for networks with directed information flow by establishing a direct connection between the algebraic connectivity of the network and the performance of a linear consensus protocol.
