ENDF/B-VII.1 Nuclear Data for Science and Technology: Cross Sections, Covariances, Fission Product Yields and Decay Data

TLDR
The ENDF/B-VII.1 library as mentioned in this paper is the most widely used data set for nuclear data analysis and has been updated several times over the last five years. But the most recent version of the ENDF-B-VI.0 library is based on the JENDL-4.0 standard.

Copper benchmark experiment for the testing of JEFF-3.2 nuclear data for fusion applications

TL;DR: In this article, a neutronics benchmark experiment on a pure copper block (dimensions 60 × 70 × 70 cm3 ) aimed at testing and validating the recent nuclear data libraries for fusion applications was performed in the frame of the European Fusion Program at the 14 MeV ENEA Frascati Neutron Generator (FNG).
Journal ArticleDOI

Neutron and γ background measurements of the experimental halls at the CSNS back-streaming white neutron source

TL;DR: In this article, the background of the back-streaming white neutron source (the so-called Back-n White Neutron Source) was simulated by the Monte Carlo method and correspondingly measured with a Bonner sphere spectrometer.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new facility for non-destructive assay using a 252Cf source

TL;DR: A new laboratory facility for non-destructive analysis (NDA) using a time-tagged (252)Cf source is presented, exploring also limits due to the sample thickness.
Journal ArticleDOI

Laser based neutron spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a novel time-of-flight detector, largely immune to electromagnetic noise, based on a plastic scintillator, coupled with a silicon photo-multiplier by a long light-guiding fiber.
Journal ArticleDOI

Approximate processing of the level–level interference in an R-matrix formalism

TL;DR: In this paper, the integral coefficients of neutron resonances were evaluated directly from resonance parameters, which enables the evaluation of individually distinct single-resonance integrals, useful when investigating the statistical nature of resonance distribution, the role of the neutron flux shape parameter, applications in nuclear reaction physics, isotope synthesis in reactors and astrophysical entities, activation analysis, and the science of nuclear materials.

Table of Isotopes

TL;DR: In this paper, a 2-volume work contains nuclear structure and decay data for over 3,100 isotopes and isomers and extensive appendices have been entirely rewritten, expediting retrieval and use of nuclear information for many areas of research.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nuclear ground state masses and deformations

TL;DR: In this paper, the atomic mass excesses and nuclear ground-state deformations of 8979 nuclei ranging from 16O to A = 339 were tabulated based on the finite-range droplet macroscopic model and the folded-Yukawa single-particle microscopic model.
Journal ArticleDOI

The AME2003 atomic mass evaluation . (II). Tables, graphs and references

TL;DR: The second part of the new evaluation of atomic masses Ame 2003 is presented in this paper, where the results of a least squares calculation described in Part I for all accepted experimental data are derived here tables and graphs to replace those of 1993.
Journal ArticleDOI

JENDL-4.0: A New Library for Nuclear Science and Engineering

TL;DR: The fourth version of the Japanese Evaluated Nuclear Data Library has been produced in cooperation with the Japanese Nuclear Data Committee as mentioned in this paper, and much emphasis is placed on the improvement of the original library.
