TLDR
In this article, the neutralino is proposed as the lightest superpartner in many supersymmetric theories, and it is shown how to calculate the cosmological abundance of neutralino and event rates for both direct and indirect detection schemes.

On the correlation between the local dark matter and stellar velocities

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the relationship between the local velocity distribution of dark matter and the metal-poor stars selected by applying reasonable cuts on metallicity and found no strong correlations between the velocity distributions of the two groups of stars.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bayesian neural networks for fast SUSY predictions

TL;DR: Machine learning is used to model the mapping from the parameter space of the phenomenological Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (pMSSM), a BSM theory with 19 free parameters, to some of its predictions, and Bayesian neural networks are used to predict cross sections for arbitrary pM SSM parameter points.
Journal ArticleDOI

Constraining the Milky Way Dark Matter Density Profile with Gamma-Rays with Fermi-LAT

TL;DR: In this article, the Fermi-LAT instrument was used to constrain the Milky Way dark matter density profile and some dark matter particle properties, such as annihilation cross section, mass and branching ratio into dominant annihilation channels.
Journal ArticleDOI

Using a Wavelength Shifter to Enhance the Sensitivity of Liquid Xenon Dark Matter Detectors

TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that depositing p-terphenyl (p-TP) solid wavelength shifter on PTFE reflectors and the entrance window of a photomultiplier tube enhanced light collection efficiency by 21%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparing Galactic Center MSSM dark matter solutions to the Reticulum II gamma-ray data

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated two specific scenarios for annihilating WIMP dark matter within the phenomenological minimal supersymmetric standard model (pMSSM) framework as a possible source for these photons.

The Early Universe

TL;DR: In this article, the Robertson-Walker Metric is used to measure the radius of the Planck Epoch in the expanding universe, which is a measure of the number of atoms in the universe.
Journal ArticleDOI

CP Violation in the Renormalizable Theory of Weak Interaction

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that no CP-violating interactions exist in the quartet scheme without introducing any other new fields, and that the strong interaction must be chiral SU ( 4) X SU( 4) invariant as precisely as the conservation of the third component of the iso-spin.
Journal ArticleDOI

Partial Symmetries of Weak Interactions

TL;DR: In this paper, the weak and electromagnetic interactions of leptons are examined under the hypothesis that the weak interactions are mediated by vector bosons, and it is shown that the simplest partially-symmetric model reproducing the observed electromagnetic and weak interactions requires the existence of at least four vector-boson fields (including the photon).
