TLDR
In this article, the neutralino is proposed as the lightest superpartner in many supersymmetric theories, and it is shown how to calculate the cosmological abundance of neutralino and event rates for both direct and indirect detection schemes.

Electroweak Phase Transition with an SU(2) Dark Sector

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated two different scenarios of the dark sector scalars with Z-2 symmetry, with Higgs portal interactions that can introduce mixing between the SM Higgs boson and the SM singlet scalars.
Journal ArticleDOI

Removing krypton from xenon by cryogenic distillation to the ppq level

Elena Aprile, +120 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the design of a novel cryogenic distillation column using the common McCabe-Thiele approach is described, and the system demonstrated a krypton reduction factor of 6.4$\cdot$10$^5$ with thermodynamic stability at process speeds above 3 kg/h.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fifth forces, Higgs portals and broken scale invariance

TL;DR: In this article, the authors study the relationship between the strength of fifth forces and the origin of scale breaking in the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics, and show that the usual tree-level fifth forces only emerge if there is mass mixing between the conformally coupled scalar and the Higgs field.

Dark matter in a constrained E 6 inspired SUSY model

TL;DR: In this paper, dark matter in a constrained EForgeModLoader 6 inspired supersymmetric model with an exact custodial symmetry was investigated and compared with the CMSSM, showing that a predominantly Higgsino or mixed bino-Higgsino, neutralino can account for all the relic abundance of dark matter, while fitting a 125 GeV SM-like Higgs and evading LHC limits on new states.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neutrino mass, leptogenesis and FIMP dark matter in a $$\mathrm{U}(1)_{B-L}$$ U ( 1 ) B - L model

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors extend the standard model by a local gauge symmetry, three right-handed (RH) neutrinos for the cancellation of gauge anomalies and two complex scalars having non-zero U fixme $$(1)_{B-L}$$ charges.

The Early Universe

TL;DR: In this article, the Robertson-Walker Metric is used to measure the radius of the Planck Epoch in the expanding universe, which is a measure of the number of atoms in the universe.
Journal ArticleDOI

CP Violation in the Renormalizable Theory of Weak Interaction

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that no CP-violating interactions exist in the quartet scheme without introducing any other new fields, and that the strong interaction must be chiral SU ( 4) X SU( 4) invariant as precisely as the conservation of the third component of the iso-spin.
Journal ArticleDOI

Partial Symmetries of Weak Interactions

TL;DR: In this paper, the weak and electromagnetic interactions of leptons are examined under the hypothesis that the weak interactions are mediated by vector bosons, and it is shown that the simplest partially-symmetric model reproducing the observed electromagnetic and weak interactions requires the existence of at least four vector-boson fields (including the photon).
