Attending to the Grammatical Errors of Students using Constructive Teaching and Learning Activities

TL;DR: In this article, constructive teaching and learning activities were used to help learners improve on their grammar and usage with a focus on how to help them internalize subject verb agreement rules, and the outcome of the study showed an improvement in students' performance in grammatical errors and usage.

Development and Preliminary Validation of an Instrument to Measure Metacognition Applied to Physical Activity during Early Adolescence

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the relationship between the metacognitive approach in the physical activity domain and sports-related motivations and goals, and found that the ability to monitor thinking and to modify one's own thoughts and thinking strategies (metacognitive control) develops gradually and unevenly in different areas (social, academic, physical activity) through childhood and across the lifespan.

Thinking about Nutrition: Assessing and Enhancing the Reasoning Skills of College Non-Major Nutrition Students.

TL;DR: In this article, the reasoning skills of non-major nutrition students were assessed on the basis of their performance on tests derived from the work of Piaget and found that only about 25 percent of the subjects used formal reasoning consistently.
