Journal ArticleDOI

ANGPTL7, a therapeutic target for increased intraocular pressure and glaucoma

Kavita Praveen, +157 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors identify and functional characterization of rare coding variants (including loss-of-function variants) in ANGPTL7 associated with reduction in intraocular pressure (IOP) and glaucoma protection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sequence data and association statistics from 12,940 type 2 diabetes cases and controls (vol 4, 170179, 2017)

Jason Flannick, +300 more
TL;DR: This corrects the article DOI: 10.1038/sdata.2017.179 to S Data 2017, which indicates that S Data was first published in 2017, not S Data 2016, which was originally published in 2016.

Across-cohort QC analyses of genome-wide association study summary statistics from complex traits

TL;DR: A new set of metrics and visualization tools for GWAMA, using summary statistics from cohort-level GWASs are proposed, and a new statistic that uses the reported allelic effect sizes and their standard errors to identify significant sample overlap or heterogeneity between pairs of cohorts is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Whole Exome Sequencing Enhanced Imputation Identifies 85 Metabolite Associations in the Alpine CHRIS Cohort

TL;DR: An exome-wide association study on absolute concentrations of 175 metabolites in 3294 individuals provides further evidence for previously described associations, and identifies three gene-trait associations, where multiple rare variants contribute to the signal.
