TL;DR: Somatic copy number aberrations (SCNAs) in 1,087 unique medulloblastomas are reported, including recurrent events targeting TGF-β signalling in Group 3, and NF-κB signalling in Groups 4, which suggest future avenues for rational, targeted therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prognostic factors in central neurocytomas: a multicenter study of 71 cases.
Alexandre Vasiljevic,Patrick François,Anderson Loundou,Michelle Fèvre-Montange,Anne Jouvet,Pierre-Hugues Roche,Dominique Figarella-Branger +6 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that the extent of surgery is the main factor to be considered in the prognostic assessment of patients with central neurocytoma, and the use of histologic criteria as reliable markers to define an “atypical” group of CNs is not supported.
Journal ArticleDOI
SNP Array Analysis Reveals Novel Genomic Abnormalities Including Copy Neutral Loss of Heterozygosity in Anaplastic Oligodendrogliomas

Carpentier,Frédéric Dhermain,Jean-Yves Delattre,Dominique Figarella-Branger +39 more
TL;DR: This study showed that the genomic and pathological analyses of AOD are synergistic in detecting relevant clinical and biological subgroups of AOS, and identified a putative tumor suppressor role of FUBP1 in AOD.
Journal ArticleDOI
Histopathologic and ultrastructural features and claudin expression in papillary tumors of the pineal region: a multicenter analysis.
Michelle Fèvre Montange,Alexandre Vasiljevic,Anne-Marie Bergemer Fouquet,Michèle Bernier,Jacques Champier,Fabrice Chrétien,Dominique Figarella-Branger,Jean-Louis Kemeny,Emmanuèle Lechapt-Zalcman,Sophie Michalak,Catherine Miquel,Karima Mokthari,Isabelle Pommepuy,Isabelle Quintin Roué,Audrey Rousseau,Ghislaine Saint-Pierre,Caroline Salon,Emmanuelle Uro-Coste,Pascale Varlet,Ingrid Kratzer,Jean-François Ghersi-Egea,Anne Jouvet +21 more
TL;DR: It is highlighted that PTPRs have unusual vessels with multiple lumina and frequently show detachment of the border of the tumoral cells from the vascular wall, and 2 subgroups of tumors with either a striking papillary growth pattern or a papillary and solid growth pattern are distinguished.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular characterization of central neurocytomas: potential markers for tumor typing and progression.
Alexandre Vasiljevic,Jacques Champier,Dominique Figarella-Branger,Anne Wierinckx,Anne Jouvet,Michelle Fèvre-Montange +5 more
TL;DR: The study shows the potential involvement of various genes in the pathogenesis of CNs, and identifies genes that were highly expressed in CNs compared to normal brain and might be candidates for the molecular typing ofCNs.
