First measurement of the cross section for top quark pair production with additional charm jets using dileptonic final states in pp collisions at √{ s } = 13TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2324 more
- 10 Sep 2021 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the first measurement of the inclusive cross section for top quark pairs ( t t ) produced in association with two additional charm jets is presented. But the results are not consistent with predictions from two different matrix element generators with next-to-leading order accuracy in quantum chromodynamics, interfaced with a parton shower simulation.

TL;DR: The first evidence of vector boson scattering in the decay channel at LHC was reported in this article , where the authors used a data set of proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV collected with the CMS detector during 2016-2018 with an integrated luminosity of 138fb−1.

A measurement of charged-particle multiplicity in z(o)-]c(c)over-bar and z(o)-]b(b)over-bar events

R.J. Akers, +323 more
- 08 Jun 1995 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the OPAL detector at LEP was used to reconstruct D* mesons and secondary vertices in jets, and the authors studied the hemispheres of the events opposite these jets and obtained values of the hemisphere charged particle multiplicity.
