The common marmoset genome provides insight into primate biology and evolution

Kim C. Worley, +120 more

TL;DR: The whole-genome sequence of the common marmoset enables increased power for comparative analyses among available primate genomes and facilitates biomedical research application.
Journal ArticleDOI

recA protein-catalyzed strand assimilation: stimulation by Escherichia coli single-stranded DNA-binding protein.

TL;DR: Single-stranded DNA-binding protein purified from a binding protein mutant (lexC) is considerably less effective than wild-type binding protein in stimulating strand assimilation, a result which suggests that single-strander DNA- binding protein participates in general recombination in vivo.
