How the brain repairs stuttering

TL;DR: It is shown that persistent stuttering is associated with mobilization of brain regions contralateral to the structural anomalies for compensation attempt, and late repair of neurodevelopmental stuttering follows the principles of contralsateral and perianomalous reorganization.
