Journal ArticleDOI

Promoter trapping reveals significant differences in integration site selection between MLV and HIV vectors in primary hematopoietic cells.

TL;DR: A novel approach based on genetic trapping to rapidly score several thousand integration sites and found that MLV vectors trapped cellular promoters more efficiently than HIV vectors, indicating a strong propensity of MLV to establish transcriptional interactions with cellular promoters.
Journal ArticleDOI

A New-Generation Stable Inducible Packaging Cell Line for Lentiviral Vectors

TL;DR: The packaging cell line and all vector producer clones described here were shown to be free from replication-competent recombinants, and from recombinant between packaging and vector constructs that transfer the viral gag-pol genes.
