Simultaneous sequencing of rna and dna from the same sample
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present methods, compositions, and kits for simultaneously generating RNA and DNA sequencing libraries from a single sample source without the need to divide the sample to separate nucleic acids from each other.
Journal ArticleDOI
Where Next for Genetics and Genomics
Chris Tyler-Smith,Huanming Yang,Laura F. Landweber,Ian Dunham,Bartha Maria Knoppers,Peter Donnelly,Elaine R. Mardis,Michael Snyder,Gil McVean +8 more
TL;DR: The last few decades have utterly transformed genetics and genomics, but what might the next ten years bring?
Journal ArticleDOI
Improvement in Glucose Regulation Using a Digital Tracker and Continuous Glucose Monitoring in Healthy Adults and Those with Type 2 Diabetes
Ashkan Dehghani Zahedani,Solmaz Shariat Torbaghan,Salar Rahili,Kirill Karlin,Darrin Scilley,Riya Thakkar,Maziyar Saberi,Noosheen Hashemi,Dalia Perelman,Nima Aghaeepour,Tracey McLaughlin,Michael Snyder +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the potential benefit of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) combined with a mobile app that links each individual's glucose tracing to meal composition, heart rate, and physical activity in a cohort of 1022 individuals, ranging from nondiabetic to non-insulin-treated type 2 diabetes (T2D) and prediabetes, spanning a wide range of demographic, geographic, and socioeconomic characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Correction: AGAPE (Automated Genome Analysis PipelinE) for Pan-Genome Analysis of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
Giltae Song,Benjamin Dickins,Janos Demeter,Stacia R. Engel,Jennifer E. G. Gallagher,Kisurb Choe,Barbara Dunn,Michael Snyder,J. Michael Cherry +8 more
TL;DR: AGAPE (Automated Genome Analysis PipelinE) for Pan-Genome Analysis of Saccharomyces cerevisiae genes and their products and Webb Miller for helpful comments are provided.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phosphorylation of yeast transcription factors correlates with the evolution of novel sequence and function.
Mark Kaganovich,Michael Snyder +1 more
TL;DR: It is found that proteins coded by duplicated genes created in the Whole Genome Duplication (WGD) event and in a period prior to the WGD are significantly more phosphorylated than other duplicates or singletons.
