TL;DR: In this paper, a flamelet-generated manifold method for premixed combustion systems is applied to laminar flames, which can be used to give accurate predictions, a semi-practical furnace is modeled and the results are compared with results of detailed computations.

TL;DR: In this article reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerizations have been performed on a Chemspeed Accelerator SLT100 automated synthesizer to polymerize N,N-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) and poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacyl (PEGMA) at 70 °C. All polydispersity indices of the obtained copolymers are comprised between 1.11 and 1.30.
Abstract: Reversible addition−fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerizations have been performed on a Chemspeed Accelerator SLT100 automated synthesizer to polymerize N,N-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) and poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate (PEGMA) at 70 °C. Azobis(isobutyronitrile) (AIBN) was used as source of radicals and 2-cyano-2-butyl dithiobenzoate (CBDB) as RAFT agent. A complete screening in composition of P(DMAEMA-stat-PEGMA) copolymers was elaborated from 0% of PEGMA to 100% of PEGMA. All polydispersity indices of the obtained copolymers are comprised between 1.11 and 1.30. The reactivity ratios have been determined by the extended Kelen−Tudos method (rDMAEMA = 0.93 and rPEGMA = 0.66). The behavior of the pH- and temperature-sensitive copolymers was studied in aqueous solution by measuring the lower critical solution temperature (LCST) by UV/vis spectroscopy. The measurements were performed at three different pH values (4, 7, and 10). At pH 7 and pH 10 it has been observed th...

TL;DR: SDF^3 is a tool for generating random Synchronous DataFlow Graphs (SDFGs), if desirable with certain guaranteed properties like strongly connectedness.
Abstract: SDF^3 is a tool for generating random Synchronous DataFlow Graphs (SDFGs), if desirable with certain guaranteed properties like strongly connectedness. It includes an extensive library of SDFG analysis and transformation algorithms as well as functionality to visualize them. The tool can create SDFG benchmarks that mimic DSP or multimedia applications.

TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between team composition in terms of the Big-Five personality traits (trait elevation and variability) and team performance was researched using a meta-analytical procedure, the number of teams upon which analyses were performed ranged from 106 to 527.
Abstract: Using a meta-analytical procedure, the relationship between team composition in terms of the Big-Five personality traits (trait elevation and variability) and team performance were researched. The number of teams upon which analyses were performed ranged from 106 to 527. For the total sample, significant effects were found for elevation in agreeableness ( = 0.24) and conscientiousness ( = 0.20), and for variability in agreeableness ( = -0.12) and conscientiousness ( = -0.24). Moderation by type of team was tested for professional teams versus student teams. Moderation results for agreeableness and conscientiousness were in line with the total sample results. However, student and professional teams differed in effects for emotional stability and openness to experience. Based on these results, suggestions for future team composition research are presented.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider workflows distributed over a number of organizations and consider the minimal requirements any interorganizational workflow should satisfy, and how to decide whether such a workflow is consistent with an interaction structure specified through a message sequence chart.
