TL;DR: Electroconvulsive shock (ECS) restored the reduced coverage of blood vessels by astrocytic endfeet in the mPFC and hippocampus with amelioration of depressive-like behavior and therapeutic mechanism of ECT may involve restoration of the impaired gliovascular units by increasing the astroCytic-endfoot coverage ofBlood vessels.

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of land use and land cover (LULC) indicators and population density on water quality parameters during dry and rainy seasons in a tourism area in Indonesia was assessed.
Abstract: This paper aims to assess the influence of land use and land cover (LULC) indicators and population density on water quality parameters during dry and rainy seasons in a tourism area in Indonesia. This study applies least squares regression (OLS) and Pearson correlation analysis to see the relationship among factors, and all LULC and population density were significantly correlated with most of water quality parameter with P values of 0.01 and 0.05. For example, DO shows high correlation with population density, farm, and built-up in dry season; however, each observation point has different percentages of LULC and population density. The concentration value should be different over space since watershed characteristics and pollutions sources are not the same in the diverse locations. The geographically weighted regression (GWR) analyze the spatially varying relationships among population density, LULC categories (i.e., built-up areas, rice fields, farms, and forests), and 11 water quality indicators across three selected rivers (Ayung, Badung, and Mati) with different levels of tourism urbanization in Bali Province, Indonesia. The results explore that compared with OLS estimates, GWR performed well in terms of their R2 values and the Akaike information criterion (AIC) in all the parameters and seasons. Further, the findings exhibit population density as a critical indicator having a highly significant association with BOD and E. Coli parameters. Moreover, the built-up area has correlated positively to the water quality parameters (Ni, Pb, KMnO4 and TSS). The parameter DO is associated negatively with the built-up area, which indicates increasing built-up area tends to deteriorate the water quality. Hence, our findings can be used as input to provide a reference to the local governments and stakeholders for issuing policy on water and LULC for achieving a sustainable water environment in this region.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors tested the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived usefulness of mobile banking services on the acceptance of new information technologies such as mobile banking.
Abstract: Over the time study on the acceptance of new technologies tend to always use the construct of Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), but this concept may not be able to explain the behavior of customers towards new information technologies such as mobile banking. In this study variable, Perceived enjoyment added as new factors that reflect the intrinsic belief in the acceptance of mobile banking customers. Therefore the aims of this research are to test the influence of; 1) Perceived Ease of Use toward Perceived Enjoyment Mobile banking services, 2) Perceived Enjoyment toward behavioral intention Mobile banking services, 3) Perceived Ease of Use toward Perceived Usefulness Mobile banking services and 4) Perceived Usefulness toward behavioral intention Mobile banking services. In this research, Survey methods and questionnaires are used as research instruments. The sample used amount 200 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Model (SEM) to examine the relationship between variables. Results of the Research show that: 1) Perceived ease of use affect perceived enjoyment of mobile banking positively, 2) Perceived enjoyment affect Intention to use mobile banking positively, 3) Perceived ease of use affect perceived of usefulness of mobile banking and 4) perceived of usefulness affect intention to use mobile banking positively. Keywords: Mobile banking, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Enjoyment, TAM.

TL;DR: It is confirmed that serum PG level is a useful biomarker determining chronic gastritis, but a modest sensitivity for atrophic gastritis in Indonesia, and the ABC method should be used with caution in areas with a low prevalence of H. pylori.
Abstract: In Indonesia, endoscopy services are limited and studies about gastric mucosal status by using pepsinogens (PGs) are rare. We measured PG levels, and calculated the best cutoff and predictive values for discriminating gastric mucosal status among ethnic groups in Indonesia. We collected gastric biopsy specimens and sera from 233 patients with dyspepsia living in three Indonesian islands. When ≥5.5 U/mL was used as the best cutoff value of Helicobacter pylori antibody titer, 8.6% (20 of 233) were positive for H. pylori infection. PG I and II levels were higher among smokers, and PG I was higher in alcohol drinkers than in their counterparts. PG II level was significantly higher, whereas PG I/II ratios were lower in H. pylori-positive than in H. pylori-negative patients. PG I/II ratios showed a significant inverse correlation with the inflammation and atrophy scores of the antrum. The best cutoff values of PG I/II were 4.05 and 3.55 for discriminating chronic and atrophic gastritis, respectively. PG I, PG II, and PG I/II ratios were significantly lower in subjects from Bangli than in those from Makassar and Surabaya, and concordant with the ABC group distribution; however, group D (H. pylori negative/PG positive) was the lowest in subjects from Bangli. In conclusion, validation of indirect methods is necessary before their application. We confirmed that serum PG level is a useful biomarker determining chronic gastritis, but a modest sensitivity for atrophic gastritis in Indonesia. The ABC method should be used with caution in areas with a low prevalence of H. pylori.

TL;DR: A less efficient ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase in combination with reduced levels of NADPH and ATP under low light condition may make the relatively more efficient carbon fixing enzyme PEPc the limiting step for growth under this condition.
Abstract: Synechocystis PCC 6803 strains overexpressing pepc , gene encoding the carbon fixing enzyme phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPc), were constructed and characterized for growth, PEPc protein content and in vitro PEPc activities. Synechocystis strains WT + Km r – one (native) copy of pepc (control), WT + 2xPEPc – native copy of pepc and two additional native copies of pepc (in total three copies of pepc ), and WT + PPM — native copies of ppsa (encoding phosphoenolpyruvate synthase), pepc and mdh (encoding malate dehydrogenase) and one additional copy of each gene (in total two copies each of ppsa , pepc and mdh ) were analyzed for growth under normal and low light intensities, and in darkness (no growth). No significant differences in the growth rates were observed when the cells were grown under normal light intensity. However, growth under low light intensity (3 μmol photons·m − 2 ·sec − 1 ) resulted in increased growth rate, in particular in the strain with 3 copies of pepc . SDS-PAGE/Western immunoblots using antibodies directed against PEPc demonstrated an increased level of PEPc protein with increasing number of copies of pepc . This was followed by increased levels of in vitro PEPc activities. A less efficient ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase in combination with reduced levels of NADPH and ATP under low light condition may make the relatively more efficient carbon fixing enzyme PEPc the limiting step for growth under this condition.
