Epoxidation of olefins catalyzed by manganese(III) salen complexes grafted to porous heterostructured clays

TL;DR: In this paper, two chiral manganese(III) salen complexes were immobilized onto functionalized porous clay heterostructures (PCHs) and the Jacobsen complex was anchored onto the PCH derivatized with phenoxyl groups by axial coordination between the metal center and the support.

Bimetallic salen aluminum complexes: cooperation between reactive centers in the ring-opening polymerization of lactides and epoxides

TL;DR: The comparison of the catalytic behavior of the dinuclear complexes as well as their mononuclear counterparts suggests the cooperation between the two aluminum metal centers of thedinuclear species in which these are close enough.

Schiff bases: An overview of their corrosion inhibition activity in acid media against mild steel

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of the inhibition activity of various reported Schiff bases on the deterioration of mild steel in hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid media is presented, with a focus on mild steels.

Alkoxy-1,3,5-triazapentadien(e/ato) copper(II) complexes: template formation and applications for the preparation of pyrimidines and as catalysts for oxidation of alcohols to carbonyl products.

TL;DR: The alkoxy-1,3,5-triazapentadiene/ato copper(II) complexes have been applied as efficient catalysts for the TEMPO radical-mediated mild aerobic oxidation of alcohols to the corresponding aldehydes and for the solvent-free microwave-assisted synthesis of ketones from secondary alcohols with tert-butylhydroperoxide as oxidant.
