TLDR
A review of the catalytic activity of metal complexes of binaphthyl compounds and their combinations with salen Schiff base is presented in this paper, where the pyridyl bis (imide) and pyridine bis(imine) complexes of cobalt(II), iron(II) ions have been used as catalysts in the polymerization of ethylene and propylene.

Strategies for immobilization of manganese on expanded natural clays: Catalytic activity in the CWPO of methyl orange

TL;DR: In this article, a comparison of three methods: (i) pillaring with Al 13 followed by wet impregnation with aqueous manganese nitrate, (ii) plaring with a mixed Al/Mn oligomeric solution and thermal treatment, and (iii) Mn 2+ -homoionization of the starting clay and subsequent in situ generation of MnS clusters by H 2 S gas treatment was made.

Low temperature X-ray diffraction analysis, electronic density distribution and photophysical properties of bidentate N,O-donor salicylaldehyde Schiff bases and zinc complexes in solid state

TL;DR: In this paper, the photoluminescent properties of ZnL2 were investigated in the solid state while its absorption spectra were measured in methanol, and the theoretical calculation of the investigated compounds confirmed firstly the existence of enol-imine and keto-enamine tautomeric forms; and secondly the influence of the introduction of R on the PL properties of the compounds.

Molybdenum Schiff Base Complex Covalently Anchored to Silica-Coated Cobalt Ferrite Nanoparticles as a Novel Heterogeneous Catalyst for the Oxidation of Alkenes

TL;DR: In this paper, a Schiff base group was used to yield immobilized bidentate ligands and the functionalized magnetic nanoparticles were then treated with Mo (O2)2(acacac)2, resulting in the novel immobilized molybdenum Schiff base catalyst.

Dipyrrinphenol–Mn(III) complex: synthesis, electrochemistry, spectroscopic characterisation and reactivity

TL;DR: Preliminary studies towards epoxidation reactions were tested in the presence of iodosylbenzene and are in favour of an oxygen-atom-transfer (OAT) reaction catalyzed by the Mn(III) complex.
