TLDR
This review will address the increasing importance and challenge of chemotherapy‐induced neurotoxicity, with a focus on neuropathy associated with the treatment of breast cancer, colorectal cancer, testicular cancer, and hematological cancers.Abstract:
With a 3-fold increase in the number of cancer survivors noted since the 1970s, there are now over 28 million cancer survivors worldwide. Accordingly, there is a heightened awareness of long-term toxicities and the impact on quality of life following treatment in cancer survivors. This review will address the increasing importance and challenge of chemotherapy-induced neurotoxicity, with a focus on neuropathy associated with the treatment of breast cancer, colorectal cancer, testicular cancer, and hematological cancers. An overview of the diagnosis, symptomatology, and pathophysiology of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy will be provided, with a critical analysis of assessment strategies, neuroprotective approaches, and potential treatments. The review will concentrate on neuropathy associated with taxanes, platinum compounds, vinca alkaloids, thalidomide, and bortezomib, providing clinical information specific to these chemotherapies. The effect of hand therapy on alleviating chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy in a model mouse
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the mechanisms underlying hand therapy-induced numbness improvement in a CIPN model mouse and found that hand therapy significantly improved allodynia, hyperalgesia, blood flow, conduction velocity, serum galectin-3, and epidermal thickness in the model mouse.

Impact of First-Line FOLFIRINOX-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy on the Efficacy of Second-Line GnP in Patients with Unresectable Advanced Pancreatic Cancer
S. Sadaka,Takuji Iwashita,Hironori Fujii,Hiroko Kato-Hayashi,Koichi Ohata,Shinya Uemura,Masahito Shimizu,Akio Suzuki +7 more
TL;DR: Second-line GnP could be a possible treatment option regardless of the presence of PN, and no significant difference was observed in the relative dose intensity of GEM or nab-PTX, and incidence of adverse events.
Dual PI3K d / c Inhibitor Duvelisib Prevents Development of Neuropathic Pain in Model of Paclitaxel-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy
TL;DR: Duvelisib (Copiktra) showed a promising effect in preventing paclitaxel-induced pain-like behavior and pronociceptive signaling in DRGs and spinal cord dorsal horn (SCDH) in rat and mouse model of PIPN as mentioned in this paper .
