TL;DR: In this article, a study of 724 Lithuanian employees revealed relatively weak usage of new technologies and e-learning in human resource development processes, which indicated that new technologies are related to improvements in productivity.

What will the boss think?: The impression management implications of supportive relationships with star and project peers
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the degree to which employees form supportive relationships with peers for impression management purposes, and found that supportive relationship with both stars and projects seemed to represent impression management opportunities, insofar as they predicted supervisor positive affect and perceptions of employee promotability.
