Epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 99 cases of 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia in Wuhan, China: a descriptive study

TLDR
Characteristics of patients who died were in line with the MuLBSTA score, an early warning model for predicting mortality in viral pneumonia, and further investigation is needed to explore the applicability of the Mu LBSTA scores in predicting the risk of mortality in 2019-nCoV infection.

COVID-19: A Review on the Novel Coronavirus Disease Evolution, Transmission, Detection, Control and Prevention.

TL;DR: In this article, a review of the evolution of the SARS-CoV-2 modes of transmission, detection techniques and current control and prevention strategies is presented, and the authors conclude that the emergence of a novel coronavirus poses a serious public health threat and possibly carries the potential of causing a major pandemic outbreak in the naive human population.

COVID-19-associated coagulopathy: An exploration of mechanisms.

TL;DR: It is hypothesized that an imbalance between coagulation and inflammation may result in a hypercoagulable state in patients with COVID-19 and that hemostatic imbalances may contribute to the pathophysiology of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

COVID-19 is a Real Headache!

TL;DR: It is concluded that as a common non‐respiratory symptom of COVID‐19, headache should not be overlooked, and its characteristics should be recorded with scrutiny.

The microbial coinfection in COVID-19.

TL;DR: It is shown that microbial coinfection exacerbates the processes of the occurrence, development and prognosis of COVID-19, and the difficulties of clinical diagnosis and treatment, and is a nonnegligible factor in CO VID-19.

Isolation of a Novel Coronavirus from a Man with Pneumonia in Saudi Arabia

TL;DR: The clinical picture was remarkably similar to that of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) outbreak in 2003 and reminds us that animal coronaviruses can cause severe disease in humans.

Origin and evolution of pathogenic coronaviruses

TL;DR: The viral factors that enabled the emergence of diseases such as severe acute respiratory syndrome and Middle East respiratory syndrome are explored and the diversity and potential of bat-borne coronaviruses are highlighted.
