Epidemiological and clinical characteristics of 99 cases of 2019 novel coronavirus pneumonia in Wuhan, China: a descriptive study

TLDR
Characteristics of patients who died were in line with the MuLBSTA score, an early warning model for predicting mortality in viral pneumonia, and further investigation is needed to explore the applicability of the Mu LBSTA scores in predicting the risk of mortality in 2019-nCoV infection.

Clinical Characteristics of and Medical Interventions for COVID-19 in Hemodialysis Patients in Wuhan, China.

TL;DR: It is found that patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis were susceptible to COVID-19 and that he modialysis centers were high-risk settings during the epidemic, and that increasing prevention efforts, instituting universal screening, and isolating patients with COIDs and directing them to designated heModialysis center were effective in preventing the spread.

Overview of lethal human coronaviruses.

TL;DR: Recent studies are summarized and reviewed, with a focus on virus–host interactions, vaccine-based and drug-targeted therapies, and the development of new approaches for clinical diagnosis and treatment of coronavirus infections of multiple origins.

Neurological Involvement in COVID-19 and Potential Mechanisms: A Review.

TL;DR: A range of clinical observations and initial case series describing potential neurologic manifestations of COVID-19 are synthesized and place these observations in the context of coronavirus neuro-pathophysiology as it may relate to SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Isolation of a Novel Coronavirus from a Man with Pneumonia in Saudi Arabia

TL;DR: The clinical picture was remarkably similar to that of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) outbreak in 2003 and reminds us that animal coronaviruses can cause severe disease in humans.

Origin and evolution of pathogenic coronaviruses

TL;DR: The viral factors that enabled the emergence of diseases such as severe acute respiratory syndrome and Middle East respiratory syndrome are explored and the diversity and potential of bat-borne coronaviruses are highlighted.
