An Anatomical and Physiological Investigation of the Infralimbic Region of the Rat Medial Frontal Cortex
TL;DR: This paper aims to demonstrate the efforts towards in-situ applicability of EMMARM, as to provide real-time information about the response of the immune system to EMTs.

Naloxone Potentiation of Epinephrine Induced Vasoconstriction in Canine Skeletal Muscle Arteries
TL;DR: Naloxone (NX) potentiated epinephrine (EPI) induced submaximal vasoconstriction in canine renal and skeletal muscle arterial segments, yet had no vasconstrictor action alone and exerted its effect independent of traditional opiate receptors and may have influenced the cellular uptake or degradation of EPI.

Application of FT-IR spectroscopy to assess physiological stress in rugby players during fatigue test
Paulo Cesar Caetano Júnior,L.C. Lemes,Josafá Carvalho Aguiar,Juliana Ferreira Strixino,Leandro Raniero +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) to identify the physiological stress in rugby players using a treadmill fatigue test and saliva collections were performed before and immediately after test.

Stereotaxic mapping of the monoamine pathways in the rat brain.
TL;DR: The ascending monoamine pathways in the rat brain are demonstrated by the pile up of fluorescent material occurring in the axons after various types of lesions, indicating a unique role for the locus coeruleus in influencing the activity of the entire brain.

An autoradiographic analysis of the differential ascending projections of the dorsal and median raphe nuclei in the rat
Efrain C. Azmitia,Menahem Segal +1 more
TL;DR: The differential projections from the dorsal raphe and median raphe nuclei of the midbrain were autoradiographically traced in the rat brain after 3H‐proline micro‐injections to identify six ascending fiber tracts.

Evidence for the existence of monoamine neurons in the central nervous system. 3. the monoamine nerve terminal.
TL;DR: All the data strongly support the view that the specific central neurons giving rise to the terminals are monoaminergic, i.e. function by releasing their amines from the synaptic terminals, Consequently, DA, NA and 5-HT seem to be central neurotransmitters.
