Journal ArticleDOI

Bis[bis(pyrimidin-2-yl-κN)amine](dicyanamido-κN1)(trifluoromethanesulfonato-κO)copper(II) ethanol hemisolvate forms a hydrogen-bonded chain

TL;DR: In the crystal structure of [Cu(CF3SO3)(C2N3), C8H7N5)2]·0.5C2H6O, the CuII atom adopts a distorted octahedral geometry, with the basal plane formed by two N atoms of one dipyrimidinyl-amine ligand, one N atom of the second pyrimidine ligand and a nitrile N atom from the dicyanamide anion [Cu-N = 1.021
Journal ArticleDOI

Ruthenium(II) compounds containing a novel strong π-accepting ligand, 5, 5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bi-1,3,4-thiadiazole (dbtd). Crystal structure of [Ru(bipy)2(dbtd)][PF6]2·Me2CO(bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine)

TL;DR: A series of ruthenium(II) complexes with a novel strong π-accepting ligand, 5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bi-1,3,4-thiadiazole (dbtd), has been synthesized and characterised as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

A New Sulfur‐containing Schiff‐Base Ligand and Binding to Copper(II) and Cobalt(II)

TL;DR: In this article, a Schiff-base ligand having a potentially coordinating thioether group (2-quinoline-N-(2′-methylthiophenyl)methyleneimine, qmtpm) has been prepared.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hexakis-μ-chlorido-dichloridobis[(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)acetic acid-κ2N,N′]tetracopper(II): an unexpected neutral bis-pyrazolyl ligand in a tetracopper(II) complex

TL;DR: A new centrosymmetric tetra-nuclear complex, [Cu4(μ-Cl)6Cl2(C12H16N4O2)2] was obtained in varied yields by reaction of bis-(3,5-dimethyl-pyrazol-1-yl)acetic acid (Hbdmpza) with CuCl2·2H2O in a highly concentrated acetonitrile solution as mentioned in this paper.
