Journal ArticleDOI

Correlation between the reactivities and the computed conformational and electronic properties of N,S,O-mixed-donor crown ethers

TL;DR: In this paper, two possible explanations for the nucleophilic coupling of the secondary nitrogen atoms of the mixed-donor crown ethers were considered: steric factors and electronic factors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intramolecular oxidation of the ligand 4-methyl-2-N-(2-pyridylmethyl)aminophenol (Hpyramol) upon coordination with iron(II) chloride and manganese(II) perchlorate

TL;DR: In this paper, the ligand Hpyramol was found to undergo an oxidative dehydrogenation of its amine function to an imine group upon coordination with iron (II) chloride and manganese(II) perchlorate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation, spectroscopic and magnetic characterization of two pseudo layered copper(II) systems. The x-ray structures of bis(thiocyanato-N)bis([1,2,4] triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-N3)copper(II) and dichlorobis([1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-N3)copper(II)

TL;DR: The structures of α-Cu(NCS)2(tp)2 (1) and CuCl2 (tp) 2 (2), with tp = [1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-α]pyrimidine, C5H4N4, have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods as mentioned in this paper.
