Dinuclear transition metal compounds of a decadentate pyrazole-containing chelating ligand. X-ray crystal structure of Co2(tthd)(ClO4)4(H2O)2(MeOH)1.75

TL;DR: A potentially decadentate ligand, 1,1,4,7,10,10-hexakis (3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolylmethyl)-1, 4, 7, 10-tetraazadecane (tthd), has been synthesized from the reaction of tri-ethylenetetramine with six equivalents of N-hydroxymethyl-3, 5-dimdimethylpyrazole as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal coordination by natural biomacromolecules

TL;DR: An overview of the role of metal ions in living systems, with special attention to the coordination of the metal ions to the ligands in biologically occurring macromolecules, is given in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Homogeneous Zinc (II) Catalysis in Accelerated Vulcanization: V. The Prevailing Mechanism of Crosslink Formation in Mercaptobenzothiazole Systems

TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed investigation of the molecular mechanism of crosslink formation in sulfur vulcanization accelerated by mercaptobenzothiazole accelerators, such as ZMBT, MBTS, and N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolato sulfenamide (CBS), is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

A dinuclear manganese(III) and a rare pentanuclear manganese(III) compound with a phenol-pyrazole ligand

TL;DR: In this article, the antiferromagnetic interactions between the manganese(III) ions in both compounds were investigated and it was shown that dominant antiferromeagnetic interactions are dominant in both compound 1 and compound 2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solvent control in the synthesis of Zn(II) and Cd(II) supramolecular compounds with N,N′-{2,4-di-[(di-pyridin-2-yl)amine]-1,3,5-triazine}ethylenediamine

TL;DR: In this article, four novel supramolecular materials ZnL(NO3)2 (1), CdL(NO 3)2(2), Zn3L( NO3)6· CH3CN (3) and Cd3L 6· CH 3CN (4) have been prepared by the reaction of Zn(II)-and Cd(II) nitrate with the ligand N,N′-{2,4-di-[(di-pyridin-2-yl)amine]-1,3,
