Journal ArticleDOI

Oxidation of octyl α-d-glucopyranoside to octyl α-d-glucuronic acid, catalyzed by several ruthenium complexes, containing a 2-(phenyl)azopyridine or a 2-(nitrophenyl)azopyridine ligand

TL;DR: In this article, the oxidation of octyl α-d -glucopyranoside by NaBrO3, catalyzed by a number of ruthenium polypyridyl complexes was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Electron‐Poor Host Receptor for Electron‐Rich Guests Involving Anion–π and Lone‐Pair–π Interactions

TL;DR: The binding of the ligand N,N′, N″,N″, N'',N '',N''′-tetrakis{2,4-bis[(dipyridin-2-yl)amino]-1,3,5-triazin-two-yl}-1,4,8,11tetraazacyclotetradecane (azadendtriz)Br4]-Br)4(H2O)28 (2) determined from single-crystal X-
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal structure, magnetic properties and spectroscopic characterization of a rare syn-anti acetato-bridged zig-zag chain copper(II) complex

TL;DR: In this article, a linear chain copper(II) complex was formed in the presence of CH 3 COOH with dpa, where dpa = N, N -bis(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)amine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Conformational and stereochemical flexibility in cadmium(II) complexes of aza-thioether macrocycles

TL;DR: The synthesis and crystal structures of four CdII macrocyclic complexes containing mixed N-, O- and S-donors, and no correlation between the number of sulfur donors and Cd-S bond distance in these types of complexes is observed.
Journal ArticleDOI

A series of related 2D coordination polymers based on [copper(II)-4,4′-bpy-carboxylato] building blocks

TL;DR: In this article, a 2D coordination network based on trinuclear chain secondary building units was constructed for the selective cyanosilylation of aldehydes, and three new coordination compounds were characterized and tested for their catalytic properties.
