Journal ArticleDOI
Structure of aqua-bis(ethylenediamine)copper(II) bis(2,6-dimethylphenolate)
TL;DR: The single-crystal X-ray structure of [Cu(en)2(H2O)](dmp)2 (en=1,2-diaminoethane and dmp=2,6-dimethylphenolate) shows the copper(II) ion in a quite regular square pyramidal N4O environment as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cellular accumulation and DNA platination of two new platinum(II) anticancer compounds based on anthracene derivatives as carrier ligands.
Patricia Marqués-Gallego,Ganna V. Kalayda,Ulrich Jaehde,Hans den Dulk,Jaap Brouwer,Jan Reedijk +5 more
TL;DR: Interestingly, cis-[Pt(A9opy)Cl(2)] shows high accumulation and DNA adduct formation in the resistant cell line A2780R, as compared to the sensitive counterpart A27 80 cell line, which suggests that cis[Pt (A9opyp)(dmso)Cl) is able to overcome some of the well-known resistance mechanisms in this cellline, such as decreased cellular uptake and increased DNA repair.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two phases of [Me4N][Ni(dmise)2]2: syntheses, crystal structures, electrical conductivities, and intermolecular orbital overlap calculations of .alpha.- and .beta.-tetramethylammonium bis[bis(2-selenoxo-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dithiolato)nickelate], the first conductors based on the M(C3S4Se)2 system
Joost P. Cornelissen,Brigitte Pomarede,Anthony L. Spek,Derk Reefman,Jaap G. Haasnoot,Jan Reedijk +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a solution [Me 4 N][Ni(dmise) 2 ] (DMise=C 3 S 4 Se 2- =2-selenoxo-1,3dithiole-4,5-dithiolate) yields platelet-shaped crystals of α-[Me 4 n][Ni (dmise)) 2 ] 2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, structure, and magnetic properties of a novel difluoro-bridged copper(II) dimer with unusually strong antiferromagnetic coupling
TL;DR: The crystal structure of Cu2F2(mppzH)4(BF4)2 contains dimeric co-square-planar cations and exhibits an unusually strong antiferromagnetic interaction as discussed by the authors.
