Interactions of Platinum Amine Compounds with Sulfur-Containing Biomolecules and Dna Fragments
Edwin L. M. Lempers,Jan Reedijk +1 more
TL;DR: This chapter discusses the latest results concerning these interactions of cis-diamminedichloroplatinum(II) and related platinum compounds with S-containing biomolecules and DNA fragments.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spin-transition behaviour in chains of FeII bridged by 4-substituted 1,2,4-triazoles carrying alkyl tails
Olivier Roubeau,José M. Alcazar Gomez,Emily P. Balskus,Jeroen J. A. Kolnaar,Jaap G. Haasnoot,Jan Reedijk +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a family of polymeric 1-dimensional chains of iron(II) species showing the spin crossover phenomenon has been synthesized using 4-n-alkyl-1,2,4-triazoles as bridging ligands.
Journal ArticleDOI
Altered localisation of the copper efflux transporters ATP7A and ATP7B associated with cisplatin resistance in human ovarian carcinoma cells
TL;DR: Altered localisation of ATP7A and ATP7B in A2780cis cells is likely to be a consequence of major abnormalities in intracellular protein trafficking related to a reduced lysosomal compartment in this cell line, which may prevent drug binding to genomic DNA and thereby contribute to cisplatin resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Catecholase activity of a copper(II) complex with a macrocyclic ligand: unraveling catalytic mechanisms.
Iryna A. Koval,Katalin Selmeczi,Catherine Belle,Christian Philouze,Eric Saint-Aman,Isabelle Gautier-Luneau,Anna M Schuitema,Marcel van Vliet,Patrick Gamez,Olivier Roubeau,Matthias Lüken,Bernt Krebs,Martin Lutz,Anthony L. Spek,Jean-Louis Pierre,Jan Reedijk +15 more
TL;DR: The structure, properties and a mechanism for the catecholase activity of a tetranuclear carbonato-bridged copper(II) cluster with the macrocyclic ligand with a carbonate anion are reported.
