Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic exchange in some polynuclear bis(azole)dihalogenocopper(II) complexes
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic data have been analyzed with five different equations, i.e., the Heisenberg polynomial, the lsing expression, the parallel component of the LSA, the Monte-Carlo calculation of Jotham, and the dimeric Bleaney-Bowers expression.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and Crystal Structure of [guanidinium][Ni(dmit)2]2 and [1,1-dimethylguanidinium][Ni(dmit)2]2 (dmit = 2-Thioxo-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dithiolate). Intermolecular Orbital Overlap Calculations and Electrical Conductivities

Journal ArticleDOI
Metal binding affinity of imidazole ligands immobilized on poly(glycidyl methacrylateco-ethylene dimethacrylate) and on silica
TL;DR: In this paper, four new chelating ion-exchangers have been obtained by ring-opening reaction of the epoxy groups on poly(glycidyl methacrylate-co-ethylene glycol dimethacrylated) (GMA-EDMA) and on two types of epoxy-modified silica with the primary amine group of histamine and the primary group of 4-(5-methyl-4-imidazolyl)-1-amino-3-thiabutane (memia).
Journal ArticleDOI
New insights on the anti-skinning effect of methyl ethyl ketoxime in alkyd paints
Stefania Tanase,Jean-Cyrille Hierso,Elisabeth Bouwman,Jan Reedijk,Jan ter Borg,Johan H. Bieleman,Arno Schut +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the role of oxime additives as blocking agents of the cobalt-catalyzed autoxidative drying in alkyd paints has been investigated, and various techniques have been applied.
Journal ArticleDOI
The synthesis, characterization, X-ray structure and magnetism of dinuclear-based bis[μ-(1,1,3,3-tetracyano-2-ethoxypropenido-κ2N,N′) (1,1,3,3-tetracyano-2-ethoxypropenido-κN)(2,2′-bipyridine)copper(II)] organized in alternating chains via semi-coordinating Cu–N distances
Abderezak Addala,Fatima Setifi,Konstantin G. Kottrup,Christopher Glidewell,Zouaoui Setifi,Graham Smith,Jan Reedijk,Jan Reedijk +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the monoanionic ligand 1,1,3,3-tetracyano-2-ethoxypropenide (tcnoet) was determined using X-ray diffraction and features an alternating chain with bridging tcnoet ligands.
