Journal ArticleDOI

Coordination compounds of tripeptides and pentapeptides containing L-histidyl residues. Studies towards structural models for the active site of copper proteins

TL;DR: In this paper, a completely protected L-histidyl(NτBzl)-containing peptides were synthesized and characterized by NMR spectroscopy, and the resulting peptide derivatives appear to be good ligands for CoII, ZnII and CuI.
Journal ArticleDOI

Guanine-06 Methylation Reduces the Reactivity of d( GpG) Towards Platinum Complexes

TL;DR: 6-methylated guanine dinucleotides used to study the influence of hydrogen bonding on the specific binding of the antitumor drug cDDP, cis-PtCl2(NH3)2, to DNA appear to be important in explaining the preference for a pGpG-N7(1), N7(2) chelate, which results from H-bridge formation with the ammine ligand of cD DP.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unusual isomerization reaction of a platinum-dinucleotide compound

TL;DR: Results obtained about the second step are described, i.e., chelation after the first platinum binding, which results in interbase cross-linked compounds between the guanine and the adenine bases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tris[2-(2-oxazolin-2-yl)phenolato]iron(III).

TL;DR: The title compound, tris[2-(4,5-dihydrooxazol-2-yl-kappa N)phenolato- kappa O]iron(III), is disordered over a non-crystallographic twofold rotation axis perpendicular to the crystallographic threefold rotationaxis.
