Journal ArticleDOI

Copper(I) and copper(II) chelates containing lmidazole and thioether groups; synthesis of the ligand 1,2-bis(benzimidazol-2′-ylmethylthio)-benzene (bbtb) and the X-ray crystal structure at –52 °C of [Cu-(bbtb)(H2O)][ClO4]2·5EtOH

TL;DR: In this paper, the stable copper(I) and copper(II) complexes of the title ligand (bbtb) have been prepared, and the design of the ligand prevents planar four-coordination of CuII.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Kinetic Study on the Reactions of Azolato-Bridged Dinuclear Platinum(II) Complexes with Guanosine 5′-Monophosphate

TL;DR: In this article, the reactions of guanosine 5′-monophosphate (GMP) complexes with 1H NMR spectroscopy were monitored spectroscopically in 01 M phosphate D2O solutions at three different pD values (54, 69, 84), and for the reactions performed in unbuffered solutions (pD 82), the reaction rate for all these complexes become higher when the pD decreases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterisation and structure of two Cu(II) mononuclear compounds with 7-azaindole as a ligand that display interesting H-bond properties

TL;DR: In this article, two Cu(II) compounds with the ligand 7-azaindole (abbreviated as Haza) have been synthesized and fully characterized by spectroscopy, EPR and X-ray structure analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coordination behavior of the ligand 1,9-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-3,7-dithianonane (bddn) towards first-row transition metals. X-ray structure of [Cu(bddn)(H2O)](BF4)2

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis and characterization of the ligand 1,9-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)-3,7-dithianonane (bddn) and its coordination compounds, viz. [M(L)(X) 2 ] where M is Co 2+, Zn 2+ ; X is Cl −, Br −, NCS −, and [Cu(L) 2 O)](BF 4 ) 2 have been described.
