Journal ArticleDOI
Dimeric copper(II) compounds with a tripodal imidazole-containing ligand and bridged by imidazolate, benzimidazolate, and benzotriazolate ions. Crystal and molecular structure of µ-(benzotriazolato-N1,N3)bis{[tris(N1-methylbenzimidazol-2-ylmethyl)amine-N,N3,N3′,N3″]copper(II)} trinitrate
TL;DR: A series of dimeric copper(II) co-ordination compounds with general formula [Cu2(tmbma)2(azolate)]X3 has been prepared and characterized, where tmbma is the tripodal benzimidazolate-containing ligand tris(N-methylbenzimidaxol-2-ylmethyl)amine, azolate is the anion of imidazole or benzotriazole, and X = NO3-, BF4- or ClO4-.
Journal ArticleDOI
Increase in coordination number of lanthanide complexes with 2,2′-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline by using β-diketonates with electron-withdrawing groups

TL;DR: The coordination chemistry of Ln(hfpd)3 with phen and bpy depends on the size of the Ln3+ ion and on the used solvent as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic coupling between copper(II) ions mediated by hydrogen-bonded (neutral) water molecules.
Jinkui Tang,José Sánchez Costa,Amalija Golobič,Bojan Kozlevčar,Arturo Robertazzi,Attilio Vittorio Vargiu,Patrick Gamez,Jan Reedijk +7 more
TL;DR: A new hydrogen-bonded dinuclear copper(II) coordination compound has been synthesized from the Schiff-base ligand 6-(pyridine-2-ylhydrazonomethyl)phenol (Hphp), revealing the presence of two copper( II) centers held together by means of two strong hydrogen bonds.
Journal ArticleDOI
Manganese-Based Metal–Organic Frameworks as Heterogeneous Catalysts for the Cyanosilylation of Acetaldehyde
TL;DR: The Advanced Light Source is supported by the Office of Science, Office of Basic Energy Sciences, of the U.S. Department of Energy under Contract No. DE-AC02-05CH11231.
