TL;DR: The indications of involvement of Ligand-gated Ion Channel Signaling reinforce the role of GABA in TS, while the association of Cell Adhesion and Transsynaptic Signaling gene set provides additional support for the role for adhesion molecules in neuropsychiatric disorders.

Genome-wide association study of problematic opioid prescription use in 132,113 23andMe research participants of European ancestry
Sandra Sanchez-Roige,Pierre Fontanillas,Mariela V Jennings,Sevim B Bianchi,Yuye Huang,Alexander S. Hatoum,Julia Sealock,Lea K. Davis,Sarah L. Elson,Abraham A. Palmer +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a genome-wide association study (GWAS) of problematic opioid use (POU) in 23andMe research participants of European ancestry (N = 132,113; 21% cases) was performed.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Single-Tube Quantitative High-Resolution Melting Curve Method for Parent-of-Origin Determination of 15q Duplications
TL;DR: A previous single-reaction tube assay is adapted to determine the parent of origin of 15q duplications in 28 interstitial duplication 15q samples, one family and two isodicentric subjects and accurately determines parental origin of the duplicated segment.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The approach introduced here learns polygenic predictors of expression from genetic and expression data, used to infer biomarker levels in patients with genetic and disease information, which efficiently discovers biomarker-disease associations.
