TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the K13-propeller sequence polymorphism in 14,037 samples collected in 59 countries in which malaria is endemic and identified 108 nonsynonymous K13 mutations, which showed marked geographic disparity in their frequency and distribution.

TL;DR: This large head-to-head comparison of most currently available ACTs in sub-Saharan Africa showed that AL, ASAQ, andDHAPQ had excellent efficacy, up to day 63 post-treatment, supporting the recent recommendation of considering DHAPQ as a valid option for the treatment of uncomplicated P. falciparum malaria.
